Both the Juniors and our Red Star KC competitive club offer year-round soccer opportunities. We?ve found that steady contact with a ball helps players maintain and improve their skills. It?s no different than reading during the summer or practicing piano during a break to retain what?s already learned.
In Red Star Juniors (4 to 6 years), we offer seven-week sessions in the fall, winter (Futsal, a 5v5 indoor game) spring and summer.
Fall and spring season games and practices are held on the weekend. Summer sessions also meet twice, but with no weekend games or practices. The winter session meets indoors on the weekend.
FALL The seven-week season typically begins in mid- to late-September, once school and preschool routines are established. Registration begins around Aug. 1 with a deadline 10 days before the season begins.
A parent informational meeting is held at Liberty Community Center in Liberty a few days before the first practice. The fall session will require two hours of your child?s time for a practice and game on the weekend.
SPRING The season typically begins around April 1 and ends around the time school gets out for the summer. Registration begins in late February or early March with a deadline 10 days before the season begins.

Summer The season typically begins the first or second week in June and and runs for seven weeks. Registration begins around May 1 with a deadline 10 days before the season begins. A parent informational meeting is held at Liberty Community Center a few days before the first practice. The summer session will require two hours of your child?s time, an hour twice a week on a weekday evening.
Winter Indoor program at Parkville Athletic Complex (PAC) meets on Saturday and Sunday for an hour each day. The program generally begins in December and continues through February.
All Juniors games and practices are held at Liberty Middle School.
