Since 2005, Red Star Juniors has held its practices and games at Liberty Middle School. Our field is maintained and lined by Liberty Parks and Recreation Department, which shares the field with the school district.
Entrance to the field is off South Wales. The field is located behind the middle school/community center building and isn't visible from the street.
To reach the field from the intersection of I-35 and 152 Highway, go right at the first traffic light once you enter Liberty. The street name is Conistor and you'll see Bank of America on your right.
Follow Conistor to the second traffic light. Go left on South Wales and follow the road as it curves to the right. After about a half mile you'll see a school zone sign. Make a right into the parking lot when you see the school. Park and walk down the hill to the field.
From Liberty, the field can be easily accessed from the intersection of 291 Highway and Liberty Drive. Follow Withers Road toward the community center and make a right at the four-way stop (South Wales). Follow South Wales around the lighted soccer field and youth baseball fields until you see the parking lot entrance on your left. Park and walk down to the field.
Following a nationally recommended trend in game format for young players, we play small-sided games -- 3v3 or 4v4. Small-sided games allow each player additional opportunities with the ball.
