Thanks for teaching the Dribblemasters class. Kyle really enjoyed it (as you can tell) and I feel that for the first time he is actually incorporating foot work into his game.
You should be proud of Kyle on my team - he's really improved. You have done a good job. He was even trying to take guys on when surrounded by three players.
The girls looked good last night. We are very impressed with your coaching. They have learned so much in terms of footwork and ball control in one month than they had all of last year.
I think the drills that helped him the most were the ones focused on making different kinds of traps with the foot. That seemed to be the one lesson that really clicked for him, and I noticed how much after that lesson he wanted to start using the different parts of his foot to stop the ball, and I actually saw him use these skills more consciously a few times in his latest futsal game. After that lesson, he really started dribbling around the house a lot more.
I've been pleased with the amount of one-on-one time you've been able to give all the kids, especially with the wide range in ages.
I think the Dribblemasters has been a great way to improve Cameron's footskills.
Just some observations I have made:
1. You don't use adult language to TRY and motivate children.
2. You focus on coaching at practice......not at games.
3. All the parents respect you.
4. Your first attention and focus is always the kids
5. You are the first coach I have ever seen encourage his 6 year olds to pass back to the
goalie.
6. Your teams are always competitive.
7. Your teams are always prepared
8. You do not just search for the best kids ....... they have to have potential, coachable, and the right parents.
9. You have some of the most competitive TEAMS in the Northland and the Kansas City area.
10. I would have only a few coaches in the area teach my kids soccer ..... and you are one of them.
Keep up the good work ..... people depend on you.
I can't tell you how great we think soccer was for Garrett this year on Red Star Ultras.
This has been a really exciting season and the boys have grown a lot individually and as a team. Thank you for the wonderful guidance you have provided to the team.
We appreciate all you do to ensure such a quality program for the younger players. I think you have a top notch program. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for all you do for the kids.
I want to say Thank You to you and all the coaches that have coached Gregory. He has really come to love playing soccer and I believe the Red Star program is the reason for that. I only hope I can find a good program like Red Star out here in Kansas.
We've been pleased with the team and coaches this season. Claire has gotten really aggressive out there! I can definitely see an improvement in skills, as well.
I just wanted to thank you for helping out with our team at the Friday night scrimmage. It was very kind of you to show up and referee, and help the kids understand the game.
We owe a lot of their success to you for having this league available to us.
